Durham Community Park The Durham Community Park is Durham's oldest park and consists of twenty-four acres. This park is located one mile east of Durham on Durham-Dayton Hwy. In this park, shaded by the numerous Valley Oaks are picnic tables, a fully equipped playground, basketball courts, a riding arena, two baseball fields and The Scout Hut. |

| Picnic tables in the park can be reserved. They include two picnic tables and a BBQ. You can reserve them all day for $35.00. You can have the max of 40 people.
We have two large picnic areas, CP6 cover area & CP3 uncovered area. They can hold up to 400 people. The areas are equipped with two BBQ's and electricity. They are great for birthdays, employee BBQs, wedding receptions and more.

| Ravekes Park |
 | This one half acre children's park was donated to the District in 1982 by John Ravekes in memory of his wife Ruby Taylor Ravekes and her daughter Vivian. The park is located south of the Dwight Brinson Swim Center and consists of a small play area and tennis courts. |

| Louis Edwards Park |
 | This park is located north of Durham and west of the Midway. Louis Edwards is a long time local resident and former School District Superintendent. The District Office and Dwight Brinson Swim Center are located in this park which is adjacent to Ravekes Park. |

| Nelson Park |
 | Is located seven miles south of Durham, in the unincorporated community of Nelson. This is in the southern portion of the District.

| Midway Park |
 | This multi-use park has two baseball fields and room for three soccer fields or football fields. This park is part of a joint effort between The Durham Unified School District and D.R.P.D. This park is used by the district for flag football games, soccer games, softball games, tee ball games and is open to the public when there are not any school or recreation leagues in session. The School District uses the park for Intermediate School physical education classes, High School Women's Soccer and Junior Varsity Baseball. Durham Little League is also known to use the ball fields for their program. |

| Memorial Hall Rental |
 | The Durham Memorial Hall is available to rent for wedding receptions, anniversaries, class reunions, banquets, dances and parties. The main hall seats up to 280 people for dining and 600 for dancing. The meeting room on the NE corner seats up to 40 for meeting. The hall comes equipped with 36 8' tables and 315 metal folding chairs. Please plan in advance to rent the Memorial Hall. For more information on how to rent the hall call our office @ 345-1921.
